The Albanian community in New York has much to be proud of but one of the most special qualities of the Albanian spirit, the values of our nation and the Albanian generosity has been the service and assistance to people in need throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.

About 100 Albanians, donors and volunteers serve daily in the charity project led by Aleksandër Nilaj and the Albanian American Open Hand Association Inc. (AAOHA).
